This position is located in Warrenton, VA
The NGS Infratructure Services Analyst Sr is responsible for providing operational support for the more complex infrastructure systems, networks and services.
Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:
Provides trouble resolution for complex infrastructure systems.
Leads initiatives to consolidate, upgrade and implement equipment and/or implement business relocations, Represents major upgrades and reconfigurations in change control and determines & performs complex configuration changes to meet business requirements.
Designs and analyzes the mix of vendor services to meet business requirements.
Represents infrastructure in significant projects.
Performs the most complex operations and administration tasks as well as capacity analysis.
Will recommend and implement capacity increases, serve as the technical escalation for results of preventative maintenance routines and will supervise preventative maintenance.
Also responds to level 3 & 4 change and problem requests and leads level 1 & 2 incident recoveries and root cause analysis.
Requires BA/BS degree; 3-6 years experience in a support and operations design and engineering role in any of the following areas: servers, networks, telecommunication, operating systems, middleware, disaster recovery, collaboration technologies, hardware/software support or other infrastructure services role, or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.
Prefer experience working with Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) and knowledge of CMS' Information Technology (IT) systems, Technical Reference Architecture (TRA), and Expedited Life Cycle (XLC) process.
Desired technical skills include:
System Administration: Oracle Solaris 10, Linux RHEL 6.2, Windows Server 2008, VMware 5.0, Big F5 Load Balance appliances, IBM X150 & 152 appliances
Application Services Administration: Apache , Oracle Glassfish, Oracle Weblogic 10.3, Oracle Web Center 11 , Oracle SOA, Oracle BPM, Oracle Fatwire, Oracle AquaLogic, IBM WebSphere, Snowbound, YBASE PowerBuilder, SYBASE EA Server, PegaSystems PegaRULES Process Commander
Data Exchange and Managed File Transfer Administration: Informatica Power Center, Informatica Power Exchange, Axway (Adhoc File Transfer, Secure Transport, and Large Enterprise Clustering), Message Queue (MQ), Connect:Direct and SFTP for file transfer.
Incumbent should also be capable of working independently and demonstrate strong mentoring skills.
