SUMMARY OF DUTIES:
Provide SAP HCM technical and functional expertise to support the Amtrak HCM Technology function. Supports implementation and maintenance of existing and new applications. Ensures data quality measures are in place across all HCM operations and oversees data audits. Provides delivery of HCM Technology services (system change process, testing, SAP education, on-going SAP training) to the user community. Supports implementation of the HC Technology Strategy. In addition, responsible for development, maintenance and administration of Department's databases (Access, Excel, FilaMaker Pro etc.) and web systems on the intranet/shared drive. The position is also responsible for all reports generated from HC systems/ databases as well as external data sources. In addition, the position creates and modifies Microsoft Word, Acces, Excel and PowerPoint documents. Position also supports Human Capital with hardware/software support, as requested.


Essential Functions:
o Assist in the functional preparation of Business Process procedures, test scenarios, end-user documentation and user manuals.
o Work with the user community to determine the best solution to help solve customer problems and satisfy customer requirements.
o Responsible for implementing and coordinating business process and system changes, including testing, identifying and executing change management requirements, and coordinating system change implementation with SAP COE.
o Assist with the development and coordination of training programs that support the end users in usage of SAP, including reporting and business processes.
o Responsible for understanding functional specifications followed by writing detailed change and enhancement requests for business and system changes.
o Partners with IT, Payroll and Finance technology liaisons to discuss and resolve employee.
o Master data requirements necessary to execute changes to Payroll and/or Financial applications.
o Stays abreast of HCM technology best practices as well as emerging trends.
o Develop, modify, and troubleshoot tables, queries, reports, and macros within Databases using Microsoft Access.
o Manage and ensure collection and common sharing of information and/or data through department's shared drive on the server.
o Develop and modify complex word processing documents ( User manuals/handbooks, automated forms, etc.)
o Develop, modify, and troubleshoot complex Excel spreadsheets using formulas, pivot tables, and macros (Headcount Report, LCC, etc.).
o Develop, maintain, and administer Department's databases (Access, Excel, FilaMaker Pro etc.) and web systems on the intranet/shared drive.
o Create adhoc, monthly, quarterly, annual reports in appropriate software (ODILR, MSExcel, or MSWord etc).
o Create various reports from SAP or extract data to be used in external reports.
o Research employee information via SAP (Actions, Organization Assignment, etc.)

WORK
Experience:
o Some experience in the SAP HCM modules.
o Understanding of general HCM practices and processes.
o Experience with maintaining and editing the organizational structure, workflow, authorization concepts, employee information portal and organizational reporting.
o Experience with Employee Actions, maintaining infotypes, and SAP reporting tools.
o Experience with Wiki pages, website development, databases and FileMaker Pro.
o Expert level experience with MS. Excel.
o Experience with compensation management and pay scales.
o Ability to perform detailed analysis of user requests, identify and correct problems.
o Ability to analyze SAP delivered software changes to determine impact and recommended steps for implementation.
o Ability to evaluate and analyze the impact of configuration or process changes across other HCM and SAP modules.
o Work as the liaison between developers and business units. Capacity to manage end user expectations and required participation in SAP HCM-IT Support activities.
o Ability to write and execute test scripts, conduct unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing.
o Demonstrated experience facilitating the change management process.
o Requires ability to communicate with technical and non-technical users.
o Experience with coordinating and facilitating application training to the user community.

PREFERRED WORK
Experience:
o Knowledge of union agreements and maintaining agreement population.
o Knowledge of developing and maintaining user interfaces.

COMMUNICATION AND INTERPERSONAL SKILLS:
Must have excellent oral and written communication skills.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
