United States Citizens or individuals lawfully admitted for permanent residency or authorized by Immigration and Naturalization Service to work in the U.S. Full-Time Permanent The Information Technology Division is responsible for the planning, development and management of the information technology systems and subsystems that support District of Columbia Courts case flow, office automation, special programs, and management operations. The Division designs and administers system configuration and architecture including hardware and software, telecommunications, network operations, desktop systems, and system security. Information systems reside on a variety of platforms, such as network client/server, multi-tier, and desktop systems. The incumbent of this position serves as the senior business technology analyst and manager for the Business Analysis Branch that is responsible for planning, analyzing, testing and supporting case management Commercial Off-The-Shelf (COTS) products implementation, enterprise applications support, user account management and Service Desk support. A background and/or security investigation is required. Probationary period of one (1) year. This position is located in the Information and Technology Division of the DC Courts, which is responsible for planning, development and management of the information technology systems and subsystems that support the courts' case flow, office automation, special programs and management operations. The incumbent serves as the senior business analysis specialist and supervisor of the Business Analysis Branch that is responsible for planning, analyzing, testing and supporting case management COTS products implementation, enterprise applications support, user account management and Service Desk support. Diagnoses and resolves problems, and researches, evaluates, and provides feedback on problematic trends and patterns in Service Desk support requirements. Develops and maintains problem tracking and resolution databases. Develops and manages business process reengineering requirements, develops user account management policies, procedures and standards, and provides customer training. Ensures rigorous application of information security/information assurance policies, principles and practices in delivery of customer support services. Has responsibility for all tasks relating to work planning, organization and performance of subordinates. To qualify based on education, upload copy of your college transcript or degree. Qualifications: A bachelor's degree in systems engineering, computer science or a related field plus six (6) years of experience in information and technology, including at least four (4) years as an IT supervisor or project manager demonstrating the ability of leading IT functional or project teams. Knowledge of and experience with computer hardware and peripherals, such as, printers and scanners is required. Experience with supporting case management systems is required. Advance knowledge in Microsoft Automation and Networking Tools, such as, MS Office, Active Directory, and Outlook is preferred. Equivalent levels of education or experience may be substituted for general experience. Professional certification is a plus.

The qualified candidates will be referred to the hiring manager for further consideration and possible interview. If testing or a writing test is required qualified candidates will be notified of the date and time of their testing. All applicants will be notified of the outcome. In addition to the federal health plans, the DC Courts offer employees supplemental vision and dental plans as well as commuter transit benefit subsidy, for a maximum of $120 a month. There are 26 pay periods in the year. This job is being filled by an alternative hiring process and is not in the competitive civil service.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
