Syntelligent is seeking a Software Engineer (Mid-Level) Object Based Production Support for upcoming work for a Federal client.This position requires an Active TS/SCI security clearance.
Tasks will include:
Support with Agile software development a government agency's transition to object-based production (OBP) as a core business process.
Introduce new mechanisms to streamline OBP processes
Assist in capability enhancements to create, update, and/or delete community shared objects (e.g., build tools for data analysis and visualization
Integrate mechanisms to discover and enrich object knowledge using capabilities that come from Agile development business model for software development;
Enhance mechanisms to publish object information (e.g., computer or scripting language that supports or is the basis for software web applications and tools for data visualizations analysis, and discovery
Enhance mechanisms (e.g., software) to monitor agency user base utilizing Quellfire services/information (including producer environment queries of QF information)
Respond to shifting requirements and prioritized tasks for Quellfire support as validated
Support accreditation of capability enhancements

Required
Experience:
Qualifications
Possess specific expertise in one or more of the areas identified below.
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related technical field or substantive training and experience in this area.
Experience with Object-Based Production
Minimum of seven years' experience in software engineering. Must have necessary experience to design, develop, deploy, and support cross-platform computing applications in a large-scale and distributed environment using the Agile development methodology.
Software engineers shall have experience in designing, testing, installing, maintaining, operating, and developing in multiple programming/scripting languages/frameworks including, but not limited to Python, Spark, and Hadoop.
Minimum of three years of geospatial data management experience within an Oracle/ESRI ArcSDE geo-database environment.
Active TS/SCI Security clearance
Desired Qualifications :
Experience using HTML, Julia, Java, Java Script, R, and Scala is preferred.
Certifications or documented experience in the following
1. Agile development methodologies is also preferred:
2. Agile Software Development (ASD);
3. Disciplined Agile Delivery;
4. Extreme Programming (XP);
5. SCRUM; and
6. Lean Software Development
