Syntelligent is seeking a Software Engineer (Mid-Level) for upcoming work supporting a Federal client. An Active TS/SCI Security clearance is required.
Tasks will include:
Receive, record, and consolidate user defined and functional requirements which will be then validated and approved by government customer or action in the
Conduct functional testing of software release within a development environment on classified domains (JWICS, SIPRNet, and StoneGhost)
Enhance and maintain the user functionality and performance of innovations developed via the Agile development process
Identify best practices and lessons learned to streamline accreditation processes
Identify and introduce data science text mining techniques
Identify and introduce rapid technology techniques that improve the analytic workflows
Support the deployment of software to the user production environment
Ensure that developed capabilities are consistent with the data standards, security procedures, and formats are consistent IC ITE architecture and policy
Support accreditation of developed capabilities
Required
Experience:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related technical field or substantive training and experience in this aea.
Minimum of seven years' experience in software engineering. Must have necessary experience to design, develop, deploy, and support cross-platform computing applications in a large-scale and distributed environment using the Agile development methodology. Software engineers shall have experience in designing, testing, installing, maintaining, operating, and developing in multiple programming/scripting languages/frameworks including, but not limited to Python, Spark, and Hadoop.
Qualifications:
Experience using HTML, Julia, Java, Java Script, R, and Scala is preferred.
Certifications or documented experience in the following Agile development methodologies is also preferred:
o Agile Software Development (ASD);
o Disciplined Agile Delivery;
o Extreme Programming (XP);
o SCRUM; and
o Lean Software Development
