Key Role:
Serve as a software developer for the development and deployment of emerging and innovative Cloud-based services for a Navy client. Provide subject matter expertise and recommendations for applications deployed into Cloud-computing environments. Design and implement system integration efforts blending COTS, GOTS, and custom development tools to deliver a customer solution. Focus on architecture and implementation for multiple initiatives with an initial focus on operating a public Web portal deployed into a Cloud environment. Lead or support developing, integrating, and deploying Cloud services. Support quick turn and rapid Cloud solution implementations.
Basic
Qualifications:
-5 years of experience with technical delivery, including Java development and design, COTS implementation, and systems integration
-3 years of experience with developing applications using HTML, JavaScript, or CSS
-Experience in working with a complex Content Management System (CMS)
-Experience with deploying and managing public or private Clouds
-Experience with Cloud Computing, including SaaS, PaaS, or Big Data concepts and patterns
-Knowledge of Cloud security, orchestration, management, and gateway and bridge technologies and techniques
-Secret clearance
-BA or BS degree
Additional
Qualifications:
-Experience with VMware or RedHat virtualization technologies
-Experience with deploying and managing public Clouds using Amazon Web services or similar
-Experience with Cloud computing technologies and techniques
-Experience with SaaS
-Knowledge of Cloud security technologies and techniques
-Knowledge of best practices in private, public, and hybrid Cloud architecture and design
-Knowledge of information security best practices, including Jira and Confluence
-Possession of excellent troubleshooting skills
-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills
-BA or BS degree in Engineering, Mathematics, or Science
