D2DInc is seeking a Mid-Level Contract Closeout Specialist to support a government customer. The work will be on a full-time basis, 40 hours per week excluding federal holidays and other government closures. The contract support will be on-site at the customer's HQ in downtown DC (Vermont Ave NW). The contract length is for one year plus one option year.
Job Description:
The contractor shall:
Assist with correspondence and negotiation with contractors with documents to be closed out.
Develop and write closeout documents for purchase orders, GSA orders, interagency agreements, cost reimbursement, cost plus fixed fee, fixed price contract closeouts. These documents include, as applicable, release of claims, Standard Form 30s, contract closeout checklists, patent and inventions documentation, and other documents related to contract closeout. The mid-level closeout specialist will focus primarily on cost-plus-fixed-fee contracts issued as either a BAA or under an IDIQ task order contract. The mid-level closeout specialist will be experienced in all aspects of cost reimbursement contract closeout.
Execute contract closeout procedures in FAR part 4.804. The mid-level closeout specialist will be responsible for closeouts that are also in accordance with the Transportation Acquisition Regulation, the Transportation Acquisition Manual, and any otherEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
