To join our tribe, you must possess excellent verbal and nonverbal communication skills, excellent listening skills, and demonstrate the ability to motivate and nurture others. Candidate must have a strong work ethic that includes punctuality, organization, and attention to detail, have the ability to maintain a friendly, enthusiastic, and positive attitude, and always maintain an outwardly facing professional appearance. The candidate will be expected to display confidence and the desire to create new relationships quickly, the ability to quickly acquire and apply new knowledge and skills, and the willingness to work flexible hours. You must have demonstrated selling skills, including cross-selling and upselling, the ability to work with money, the ability to effectively enter and retrieve information from sales tracking systems, and basic computer skills (MS Office, email, MS Windows).
Membership Consultants are required to have a high school diploma or equivalent. Two years experience in sales is preferred. Special consideration is given to candidates possessing a bachelor's degree in recreation, fitness, business management, or related field.

Membership Consultant must be able to stand for long periods of time and perform daily walking, lifting, bending, squatting. Clear diction and acute hearing to engage in phone and in-person sales are required as well as corrected vision close to 20/20 to interpret online and written information.
As a Membership Consultant, you will accept membership inquiries and convert them to appointments, schedule appointments daily; conduct tours for scheduled appointments and prospects; and participate in the "ups" system, respecting other consultants. You will complete all membership paperwork and daily reports in an accurate and timely manner. You will be required to recruit point of sale referrals from every new member and meet, greet, and work the floor during select times of day. You will also obtain referrals from existing members and generate leads through marketing in-house and in the community. This position requires you send thank-you notes and guest passes to new members within 48 hours of joining, enter new members in onboarding process, and schedule Smart Starts or other integration programs. As Membership Consultant, you will track leads, appointments, prospect interests, etc., in appropriate systems and market club to organizations and corporations.
You will be required to attend all required meetings and trainings and find ways to boost personal performance. You must respond to all member questions or concerns within 48 hours, understand and follow employee standards of conduct and ethics, and uphold club building, facilities, service, program, and emergency procedures.

Membership Consultants receive compensation through bonus and hourly rate of pay. We offer competitive rates of pay, benefits and membership available.
