The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) has a continuing requirement for Secure Enterprise Network Systems, Services, & Support (SENS3) for the continued operations and maintenance and evolution of the Homeland Secure Data Network (HSDN) and the Classified Local Area Network (C-LAN). This requirement was previously called Enterprise Networked Services Support (ENSS). Supporting the SENS3 management team, the selected individual will be responsible for providing services for design, documentation, implementation, and execution of Disaster Recovery and Continuity Operations across all SENS3 functional areas to include the following: - Continuity planning and operations sustainment for systems, networks and applications; - Provides daily operations, continuity planning, and providing alternate services for systems and communications; - Conduct and manages monthly testing of all systems, networks, and applications and documents testing results for leadership; - Maintains the IT Disaster Recovery Plan (DRP); - Assesses and maintains status of availability of all systems, networks, applications, and data during an emergency that are tied directly to a credible estimate of operational performance; - Administers and supports the management of the Emergency Notification System, AtHoc Alerts, and Warning Systems; - Subject to being called in to support any continuity event.
Qualifications:
9
years of experience working in a complex large IT environments; - Experience with Disaster Recovery and Continuity Planning; - Experience designing, building, and maintaining complex and redundant IT systems/communications. - DHS experience - experience with ITIL methodologies - experience with communication and System Continuity planning - certified information systems Security professional Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 9 years of professional experience; or 7 years of professional experience with a related Masters degree. Considered an emerging authority.
