Job Description
We're looking for a creative storyteller who's passionate, dedicated and forward thinking. Our ideal candidate can think conceptually and execute tactically across websites, print and digital media, video, email campaigns, corporate communications and more.
The Creative Director will join the Creative Services team to help lead the conceptual and stylistic direction for internal and customer-facing marketing materials. This includes overseeing projects, and supervising designers, production artists, freelancers, photographers, prepress technicians and printers. The candidate should be very comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
Key
Responsibilities:
Art direct and design attractive, effective creative across a wide range of projects and mediums, including marketing brochures, websites, events collateral, print and digital advertising, direct mail, sales collateral, video and multimedia presentations
Work closely with other members of the marketing organization to develop brand standards for the company, and identify new opportunities to enhance the brand across all mediums
Ensure all creative, marketing and corporate materials conform to brand standards for consistency in visual identity, messaging and positioning, including voice and personality
Provide creative direction, train, mentor and inspire the internal design team
Lead and participate in creative brainstorming sessions
Develop tactics that bring creative concepts to life and achieve program objectives
Prepare and present creative presentations for internal clients and senior management
Work effectively with internal colleagues and external vendors to complete projects within timeframe and budget
Oversee multiple projects through all stages, from concept through to production
Collaborate with various project managers, department heads and senior management
Proactively track trends in design, user experience, digital and social media, and client businesses
Plan and conduct internal and competitive creative audits
Desired Skills and Experience
Mastery of Adobe Creative Suite
Minimum 3 5 years of design and digital marketing experience in an agency or in-house marketing department
Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design or related studies
Deep understanding of emerging design trends and technology platforms that support digital marketing and user experiences
Excellent presentation and communication skills, including the ability to communicate in a clear, consistent and transparent manner
Passion and enthusiasm about excellence and attention to detail to ensure quality is delivered in every output
Ability to thrive in a self-directed role, while also understanding that collaboration is a key ingredient of success; excellent team player
Strong influencing skills and exceptional ability to give positive and constructive feedback
Minimum 5 - 7 years of management experience
