Database Administrator

Key Responsibilities
Participates in or leads a Data Engineering Team supporting one or more application projects.
Works collaboratively with the Application team, including architects, developers and testers, to ensure project success.
Engage and collaborate with the infrastructure DBA teams to ensure delivery of DB infrastructure components.
Ensure integration of DE deliverables with other project deliverables.
Collaborates with the Application Project manager to plan and manage the DE activities and deliverables.
Coaches less experienced DE team members. Participates in discussion with customers and peers to collect and analyze data requirements.
Provides input and advice to peers, management and customers in relation to data engineering principles, technologies, methods and
best practices, within areas of expertise.
Design database environments and databases.
Design, develop, modify, test, release/ deploy and maintain database objects.
Design database objects and supervise develop, modify, test, release/ deploy and maintain by other DBAs.
Design, develop, modify, test, release/ deploy and maintain database security and audit solutions design, develop, modify, test, release/
deploy and maintain database recovery solutions.
Execute database and data recovery.
Manage database performance, capacity and availability.
DBMS SW implementation, upgrade, patching.
Knowledge and Skills
Management of Oracle databases including 11g and 12c
Microsoft technologies including SQL 2008 R2 and 2012
Installation and configuration of Windows Server technologies including 2012, UNIX variants, particularly installation and configuration of Red Hat Linux, Network Attached Storage
Microsoft SharePoint technologies
Networking principles and components
Oracle knowledge
Microsoft knowledge (physical database architecture as well as design, database backup, recovery and disaster recovery procedures, installing, configuring MS SQL Server on Windows Server technologies, performance tuning, query optimization, client/server connectivity, database consistency checks using DBCC utilities, capacity planning, Microsoft SQL clusters, SQL DR, HA options as well as contingency planning, log shipping, always on cluster), etc.
Planning, design, implementation, and support of large Oracle database environments including setting up backup and recovery strategies, performance tuning, query optimization instances, troubleshooting performance issues
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field or equivalent work experience.
May hold intermediate-level certification(s) in work field.
Typically 8
years of relevant experience.
CompTIA Security
and at least 1 current Computing Environment certification.
Must have a SECRET Clearance

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
