Senior Cost Estimator

DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES
The scope of this effort is to perform cost, schedule, and earned value analysis with responsibility for analyzing a variety of proposed program/project activities, involving a wide range of factors affecting cost, with pertinent historical data generally available. Tasks may include:
Create customized parametric models with a focus on electronics and weapon systems. Ideally also able to develop cost models to estimate software development using both traditional and agile methods
Complete both single phase and full lifecycle estimates which are documented in manner to be sufficiently reviewed by independent parties
Estimating both cost of technology trends and technology transformation
Operate independently to develop models and narrowly defined estimates and also as a senior member of a larger cost estimating team
Conduct open source and classified data collection to support future cost estimates
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
Quantitative education: engineering, science, mathematics, operations research, economics. Ideally at the Masters level. Years of experience can be considered in lieu of a formal degree

years of cost analysis and estimating experience in a DoD environment
US Citizenship is required. Applicants selected will be subject to a Government investigation and must meet eligibility requirements to obtain and retain the designated Government clearance (TS/SCI). Must have an active TS/SCI clearance.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Experience with developing Business Case Analysis (BCA)
Excellent oral and written communication skills
PMP, EVP or CCE/A Certification
