Communication Specialist

The Implementation Consultant will participate with and/or lead a team on the successful implementation of all types of projects (from routine to complex and unique) of Mercer's proprietary HR software. To fulfill this role, the Implementation Consultant will:
Interface with clients and Mercer staff to clarify and document complex and unique business software requirements, project plans and system design to meet the client needs; clarify and resolve unique and difficult issues related to client deliverables (will not escalate any issues); anticipate the client's needs and incorporate them into project planning to stay one step ahead.
Participate in and/or lead multiple project teams (any size from 0-10 employees) to implement Mercer's proprietary human resources software by traveling on-site to a clients location to install, troubleshoot and resolve unique and difficult issues related to software installation (will not escalate issues), and train clients on use of software.
Manage and organize the project plan and controlling project scope including determining and communicating deadlines; allocating project resources; and drafting, maintaining and updating both internal and client leadership on budgets for client projects.
Provide guidance to Implementation Analysts by entering repetitive and straightforward tasks in appropriate work queues; providing appropriate due dates to manage their work accordingly; and conducting both one-on-one and group instruction sessions on complex and unique issues to internal staff.
Oversee and review consultants and analysts work as they interface with clients to map (define and align data between applications) and transfer necessary employee data from the client's sources into Mercer's customized human resources software systems developed for each client.
Oversee analyst and consultant work and/or independently develop draft test criteria for review and conduct system peer reviews; recognize, diagnose, and solve unique and difficult process and technical problems (will not escalate issues); identify gaps and evaluates ways to improve process.
BA degree in business, IT, MIS or related field of study
8 years of required experience
Proven technical skills
Strong oral and written communication skills
Excellent analytical and mathematical skills
Excellent client-focus or customer service skills
Ability to juggle multiple projects and deliver on time and on budget
Good knowledge of Excel and Access and database management
Ability to work well in team environment is critical
Compensation experience is a plus

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
