Business Analyst- Intermediate

Job Description Great Business Analyst position in Washington, DC! Responsible for analysis and evaluation of user business problems and development of system recommendations to meet requirements.
Translates high-level business requirements into functional specifications for business application development.
Interviews end users to obtain and document the detailed business requirements for projects.
Assists in the business process redesign and documentation as needed for new technology.
Combines understanding of IT and business processes to recommend solutions.
Assignments typically include problem definition, evaluation of requirements, and implementation of systems to meet business and user requirements.
Experience developing use cases, use case model, supplementary requirements, and business rules is essential.
Strong knowledge of MS Project, Excel, MS Word and Visio Drawing tool along with general familiarity with Outlook and other MS Office applications is also required.
Excellent analytical skills and communication skills required.
3-5 yrs of experience.
Analyzes a variety of front line (agents, CSR's, etc.
) enabled web and system tools that facilitate member experience, company membership, and Distribution channel (face to face, EMO, call centers, etc.
) quality assurance and oversight.
Gathers and delivers requirements and process workflows, communicates with vendors, and works on design, test and QA in conjunction with vendors.

Manages and analyzes site traffic and questionnaires to enhance user experience over time.
Monitors and facilitates resolution to end user support issues.
Helps with managing information exchange with the carriers to ensure tools meet carrier compliance.
Improves communication of distribution channel experience and ensures management is aware of any anomalies.
Develops ad hoc reports and runs queries has needed to support management.
Ensures that the company mission is being fulfilled through a focus on creating an unparalleled member experience.
In addition are the following responsibilities/tasks for the role:
Uses research, database and interactive tools, and knowledge gained from the users on best practices and enhancements for web sites and tools.
Develops custom and ad hoc reports or queries to support distribution team, internal/external ongoing project stakeholders.
Develops Use Cases, Process Flows, Functional Design Documents and other requirement documents that are clear, concise, complete and verifiable.
Conduct software testing, looking for bugs and confusing points, conflicts, and potential problems, while documenting bugs and other issues in a clear, concise and organized manner.
Provide support to application end users, by trouble shooting issues via phone and email, while documenting reported bugs and issues.
Works with other business analysts to understand and manage project dependencies and keeps teammates informed of changes by issuing Change Management Notifications.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
