As an IT Specialist (APPSW), you will:
-Serve as a senior IT Specialist leading the activities of personnel engaged in managing, analyzing, developing, and maintaining internet/intranet software, networking, and customer service programs for the data automation, application development, LAN/WAN communication systems, information security, and other information mission areas for CDFI. -Promote Agency awareness of security issues and places exceptional emphasis on implementing and administering regulations governing the safeguarding of information. -Translate complex systems requirements, such as program lifecycle processes, application and quantitative analysis, into applications prototypes. You must meet the following requirements by the closing date of this announcement. You must have one (1) year of specialized experience that has equipped you with the particular competencies/knowledge, skills and abilities to successfully perform the duties of the position. To be creditable, specialized experience must have been equivalent to at least the GS-13 level in the Federal government. Specialized experience includes:
-Determining and designing customized applications architecture such as developing plans, schedules, resource needs, and quality standards for enterprise business systems; AND -Conveying business processes and system requirements to technical and non-technical audiences orally and in writing; AND -Programing web-based applications in a Microsoft Windows environment; AND -Experience in at least two (2) of the following relational database management system (RDBMS) related skills:
Extract, transform, load (ETL) development with SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) or other RDBMS SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) report development Stored procedure development Transact-SQL (T-SQL) syntaxIn addition to meeting specialized experience, applicants must also show proficiency in 1) attention to detail, 2) customer service, 3) oral communication, and 4) problem solving.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
