Technology Business Management Consultant

LMI is seeking a skilled TBM consultant to support a federal agency in the Washington, DC area.
This position is contingent upon successful contract award.

Responsibilities Assess, Recommend and implement IT Financial systems Build detailed financial models to project the long-term, complete impact of major technology investments to the bank's net income; Work with CIO team, infrastructure and accounting teams to determine the budget and cost of ownership aspects of the IT strategy and architectural decisions Manage project costs and produce related reporting for major projects.
The audience of this type of reporting will include SLT.
Work closely with one or more areas of IT to develop annual budgets, report variances, reforecast annual operating expenses, and perform other financial analysis as needed.
Serve as an interface to Finance and Accounting organizations to interpret and apply accounting and corporate finance standards.
Advise agency on Technology Business Management (TBM) best practices.
Qualifications Required
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Business, Accounting, Information Technology, Data Science, Computer Science or related field Minimum 8 years experience in Consulting or Advisory role Understanding and past performance working with Technology Business Management (TBM) framework CTBME Certified, or ability to obtain CTBME certification within 45 days of assuming role.
Experience with building government financial models and understanding of government budget process.
Experience working with IT Financial Management system implementation team, such as Apptio and / or ServiceNow Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to compose, write and edit a variety of general business correspondence, management reports.
Ability to maintain absolute confidentiality in all business matters required.
Ability to pass a government security clearance process is required, for which you must be a US Citizen.
Preferred
Qualifications:
Doctorate, Master's, or additional Bachelor's degree in a management, business, economics, engineering, quantitative/qualitative analysis, IT or related field.
