We also analyze proposals to build liquefied natural gas terminals and interstate natural gas pipelines and license hydropower projects. This position is located in the Office of Energy Policy and Innovation (OEPI) in the Division of Energy Market Assessments (DEMA) Group 1 or Group 2. OEPI provides strategic vision and leadership in the development of energy policy associated with electric and natural gas markets subject to the Commission's jurisdiction. DEMA examines, analyzes, and reports on the structure and operation of the electric and natural gas markets and provides information to the Commission and the public on significant market events and trends. DEMA also develops market intelligence to inform the development of policies that promote the competitiveness and, efficiency of the wholesale energy markets.Major Duties for the Supervisory Energy Industry Analyst:
Supervising carrying out the above referenced Division functions relative to generic reviews of Commission policies across the entire range of the Commission's regulatory responsibilities and related filings and applications of regulated companies. Ensuring that resources are effectively managed, assignments are properly scheduled and prioritized, and conflicts in these areas are resolved so that the assigned responsibilities of the Group are met. Overseeing analysis and associated recommendation development on specific policy proposals, ensuring that they are supported by the Commission's enabling statutes. In addition, you will be required to have a thorough understanding of the case processing systems involved in tariffs, rates, and related filings and applications, as well as a comprehensive knowledge of the workings of the regulated industries and the statutes and Commission regulations, policies, and precedent. In order to meet the minimum requirements for this position, you must have one year of specialized experience at the GS-14 level. Specialized Experience is defined as:
experience in leading or supervising individuals or teams completing projects dealing with electric power policy issues, including performing quantitative and qualitative analysis of such policy issues, drafting orders or formal recommendations on generic policies and proposed rules, Regional Transmission Organization (RTO)/Independent System Operator (ISO) market design proposals, and non-RTO/ISO electric tariff issues.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
