Great opportunity to join established, growing multidisciplinary practice providing mental health services.
We are currently looking for licensed Psychiatrist to work in long-term adult care facilities in the DMV.
There are part-time or full-time positions available.
State license is required.
Flexible hours.
Pay can be based either upon a generous percentage of collections or as a W-2 employee.
Duties include:
Evaluate new and established nursing home and assisted living patients Prescribe psychiatric medications Make recommendations to nursing home staff on non-pharmacological strategies to address problem behaviors Explain recommendations to family members as needed Collaborate with and supervise work of nurse practitioners Make referrals for psychotherapy Provide recommendations regarding gradual dose reductions.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
