As an Air Force Public Health Officer, your mission will be to prevent, reduce and control the incidence of communicable diseases and occupational illnesses among Air Force personnel at home and abroad while working in garrison or deployed.

Primary Responsibilities Apply preventive and public health techniques to reduce and control the incidence of communicable diseases and occupational illnesses both in the United States and overseas Promote public health principles through a variety of methods to include monitoring of disease trends, enforcing food safety practices and sanitation standards in food service and public facilities Daily duties could include preventive medicine, communicable disease control, advising commanders on military public health issues, directing food programs and overseeing deployment medical screening programs Benefits The Air Force benefits package is unparalleled in the civilian world.

To be considered, you must meet the following requirements:
Must be a US citizen age 18-41 Must be willing to relocate Completion of five-and-a-half-week Commissioned Officer Training course Must have obtained a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD), Master of Science in Public Health or Master of Public Health (MSPH/MPH) from an accredited institution About the Air Force Our mission is to fly, fight and win in air, space and cyberspace.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
