ResponsibilitiesMonitor public policy developments, identify emerging trends and translate policy developments into meaningful guidance and strategic advice for leadership and business stakeholdersAnalyze federal, state and local legislative, regulatory and executive initiatives related to the companys business and draft or contribute to amendments, comments and position papersReview and edit if necessary proposed statutes, regulations and policy documents from all levels of government and provide feedback on the impact on the Rock Family of Companies; suggest revisions; and suggest talking points for addressing stakeholdersCreate internal processes and functions to do the following:
provide overarching support for all four current branches (Federal, State, State & Local and Political Affairs); federal, 50-state and local legislation and regulation monitoring; editorial office (assist in materials and talking points); research service; and assist in project management, where appropriateRepresent the company and related companies before coalitions and trade groupsWrite articles and whitepapersPresent and appear on panelsAdvise the Government Affairs team on legal requirementsServe as an in-house congressional research service by answering legal, ethical, technological and other questionsPrepare briefings and training materials for the teamWho We AreWe''re America''s largest mortgage lender, closing loans in all 50 states.
