UW Continuum College is seeking a talented, motivated and experienced leader to join the marketing and enrollment services team as the Director of Partnership Marketing.
This new role in the department will lead the team responsible for the strategy and planning of marketing campaigns for over 100 self-sustaining bachelor's and master's degrees in partnership with UW colleges and schools.
The ideal candidate is a marketing strategist who also loves to roll-up their sleeves, solve hard problems, and guide team members to deliver consistently high-quality account management services for our campus partners.
The selected candidate will join the marketing senior leadership team, reporting to the senior director of marketing and enrollment services.
Success in this role requires:
Expertise in marketing with exceptional account management and presentation skills The ability to process, analyze, and present marketing data and information to a wide range of audiences Deep understanding of the digital marketing landscape and ability to speak coherently about the pros and cons of various paid and unpaid channels The ability to work collaboratively within the Marketing and Enrollment Services unit and across the organization to identify and solve complex problems; and The ability to maintain and instill our values:

Responsibilities:
Campus Partner Relationship Management Build relationships with the key stakeholders within the Fee-based Campus/Academic Partner community.
Understand their vision for program growth and provide input on marketing strategies and research to support growth.
Strategize with Academic Partnership team on new and existing program plans.
Lead challenging conversations as needed with senior-level campus stakeholders.
Present/communicate sophisticated marketing topics to university partners, including to those without marketing backgrounds.
Oversee the UWC2 marketing strategy for self-sustaining bachelor's and master's programs and understand the competitive market environment for these programs.
Ensure that all aspects of partner marketing are functioning successfully and assess key services on a regular basis.
Marketing and Communications Strategy Develop and implement an annual partner-facing strategic marketing and communication plan that positions UWC2 as a thought leader in the marketing of higher education to the adult market.
Lead strategy and guide development of partner-facing DIY tools and communications.
Serve as an ambassador of the UW brand and mission in all partner communications.
Demonstrate deep understanding of search engine optimization, search engine marketing, marketing strategy, email, social media, and digital display advertising campaigns and how these fit into the student journey and decision making.
Monitor marketing KPIs such as leads, conversion rates, website traffic, behaviors, and social media across programs and guide marketing managers on strategies to achieve program-specific goals.
Leadership and Management Lead a team of three or more marketing professionals dedicated to developing marketing strategies for partner degrees and special programs, driving them to meet or exceed established goals.
Achieve results through others by demonstrating formal and influence-based leadership.
Provide leadership that brings inspiration, collaboration, and professional development to the partnership marketing team.
Serve as a critical thought partner with marketing managers in the oversight of campus partner relationships and marketing strategies.
Meet frequently with staff to enable communication and ensure project-based work is progressing as planned.
Ensure accuracy of job descriptions, hire, onboard, and mentor staff; complete performance appraisals, and recommend staff separations.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's degree in business, communications, marketing, or a related field AND four years of marketing leadership experience to include supervision of staff and strategic planning to include:
Account management experience in a creative services agency Exceptional relationship management abilities; the ability to communicate with tact, diplomacy, professionalism, and respect Above average meeting facilitation and presentation skills Planning, organizing, and analytical problem solving
Qualifications:
Master's Degree in marketing Experience in higher education environment Application Process:

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
