We are looking for an experienced Commercial Counsel to help our Legal team scale with our sales organization and tackle a broad range of exciting and complex commercial As Commercial Counsel, you will be a critical part of making this happen.
You will have the opportunity to work alongside an all-star team of engineers who design and build our technology and our world-class sales team who deliver Spire products to government and commercial customers around the world.
You will have to understand the entire business, from radio occultation to reseller rights.

Responsibilities of your role:
Drafting and negotiating commercial contracts on both the sales and vendor side Negotiating complex data license agreements and contributing to Spire's global data licensing strategy Designing sales strategies for new lines of business Helping internal clients meet strategic growth imperatives while advising on risk management and compliance objectives Evaluating potential business partners, M&A targets, and other strategic opportunities Qualifications /
Experience:
JD from a top law school A combination of law firm and in-house experience Minimum 5 years' experience Familiarity with adjacent areas of law, such as compliance, corporate finance, IP, and international tax law.
Insatiable appetite to learn, adapt, and grow Obsessive attention to detail while keeping sight of the big picture Sense of humor Strong candidates will also possess skills in one or more of the following areas:
Experience with space or satellite-related commercial agreements (hosted payloads, ground stations, launch, manufacture, etc.
) Experience with Federal government contracts Ability to work fluidly across time zones and business cultures with international colleagues, clients, and vendors #LI-SH1.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
