IT Project Manager

Our Client is seeking a diverse and multi-talented IT project manager to lead a team for a civilian government client.
This candidate will be responsible for the summary lead development and implementation of complex information technology projects to solve problems that may have wide impact, requiring high levels of functional integration and involving multiple disciplines to be managed.
The ideal candidate should have a prior hands-on IT technical experience, good understanding of the IT systems development lifecycle, understanding of both agile SCRUM and traditional project management methods, change management, knowledge management, processre-engineering, and possess excellent leadership, customer relationship and communication skills.
This position will be responsible for day-to-day oversight of the multiple IT projects and direct interaction with client project managers and leadership.
Responsibilities includeDrive execution of IT projects from conception through requirements, pricing, design, implementation, testing, and deploymentManage all aspects of project and program engagement from scope & planning, to vendor management, budget estimation, and security complianceAbility to lead initiatives/projects using Agile methodologies in a DevOps frameworkSolid knowledge of Project/Program Management:
Software Development life cycle (SDLC) end to end; initiating, planning, requirements gathering, executing, monitoring, controlling and closingExcellent communication skills; Effectively communicate with cross functional teams and multiple lines of business & stakeholders; anticipate, track and control outcomes to resolve issues, dependencies and critical path deliverablesQuarterly Program Management Review presentations to Leadership and various stakeholdersEnsure adherence to quality standards and best practices; review project deliverables to measure effectivenessThrive in a fast-paced environment, can wear multiple hats, and be able to juggle competing priorities; Ability to self-direct, prioritize & deliver with constantly shifting & evolving projectsEvaluate assess & analyze metrics and project effectivenessRecommend and take action to direct the analysis and solution of problems; revise, as appropriate, to meet changing needs and requirementsKeen problem solving and critical thinking skillsThe candidate must have experience in the following:
Demonstrated cross-functional project management experienceExperience working with project management methodologies such as Agile including budget development, project planning, control and assurance methodologies, project management software and finance and accounting concepts and practicesExperience working with quality management approaches and techniques; experience working with delivery assurance policies, procedures, and to ensure complianceExperience working with administrative processesExperience working with client vision, business objectives, and critical success factorsExperience working with delivery assurance principles and appropriate proceduresExperience working with techniques and approaches related to the architecture, development, integration, and deployment of project phasesKnowledge of Microsoft Office SuiteKnowledge of information technology applications, processes, software and equipmentKnowledge of advanced IT project management principles (eg Agile SCRUM) and software development life cycleDemonstrated team performance skills, service mindset approach, and the ability to act as a trusted advisorAttitude that supports an Agile working environmentThe following qualifications are preferred but not required:
Federal government experiencePMP or other relevant certification and experience preferred, eg, Scrum MasterJob Requirements:

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
