NW Washington DC with less than 5% local travel required to Fulton, MD or Ashburn, VA.
This position is for an IA Engineer to support our customer as they continue to leverage the entire Xacta application suite for automation of Assessment and Authorization activities.
The candidate will be required to apply domain knowledge and collaborate with team leads and clients to translate functional needs into technical security solutions appropriately.
The candidate will interface with senior level Risk Management practitioners including the Authorizing Official (AO), Information System Security Officers (ISSO), System Owners and Engineers, Authorizing Official Designated Representatives (AODRs).
The candidate will be responsible for providing direct support to the customer for all Xacta application requirements in support of the security authorization mission.
This includes, but will not be limited to:
Engineering and Implementation support of the entire Xacta Application suite.
Business Process Engineering/Re-Engineering, Xacta Project Template development.
RMF Implementation Strategy.
Senior Management consulting and advisement by applying domain knowledge and expertise.
End-User/Stakeholder Management and Customer Outreach.
Communicate and respond to user support inquiries.
Lead Training sessions/Brown Bag sessions regarding the Xacta application suite.
Pull customer requested metrics.
Requirements capture and documentation.
Facilitate User Acceptance Testing procedures.
Multiple Network Installation and coordination efforts.
Xacta User-base Synchronization.
Facilitate efficiency and reciprocity throughout the Federal Civilian, DoD, and IC Enterprise.
Job Requirements:
Bachelors Degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Mathematics, Information Technology or related field is required.
CISSP, CISA, or CISM certification is required.
10 years of experience in Information Assurance or Cybersecurity is required, with at least 5 years providing network and/or system administration, information assurance security, testing, or evaluation.
Preference will be given to candidates with 15 years experience or more.
Active Secret Top Secret/SCI security clearance that has been adjudicated in the last 5 years is required.
Strong written and verbal communications skills and the ability to interact with people at all levels are required.
A professional attitude regarding attention to detail and customer service and excellent organizational skills are required.
Some experience performing system engineering or administration of an enterprise solution is preferred.
Some experience with Business Process Engineering is preferred.
Some experience with executing queries/prepared statements against a database is preferred.
Some experience conducting user training/demonstrations of an enterprise software product is preferred.
The successful candidate must meet eligibility requirements to access sensitive information, which requires US citizenship.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
