Overview Open & closing dates Opening and closing dates09/16/2020 to 09/22/2020 Service Competitive Pay scale & grade GS 13 Salary $102,663 to $133,465 per year Appointment type Permanent Work schedule Full-Time Duties SummaryThis position is located in the Bureau for International Narcotics and Law Enforcement Affairs, Office of Resource Management, Contract Administration Support (INL/RM/CAS).
The office is responsible for supporting INL's post-award contract management function and other program implementing mechanisms such as interagency agreements and grants.
ResponsibilitiesPlans, develops and conducts program analyses of substantial scale and impact regarding complex, projects that significantly impact international programs.
Conducts in-depth studies on technical aspects of project requirements to ensure that they are taken into consideration when making recommendations to senior managers.
Makes recommendations on how best to implement changes to improve performance.
Drafts position papers and reports presenting, defending and/ or justifying the Department's programs and policies relating to the management of INL funds but with particular emphasis on those allocated to the myriad programs worldwide.
Supports program managers in complying with management policies and procedures, including those contained in the Foreign Affairs Manual, Federal Acquisition Regulation, and other regulatory sources.
Drafts well-written information and decision memoranda and reports presenting, defending, or justifying management analysis and recommendations.
Travel Required25% or less - Occasional domestic and overseas travel may be required.

Time-In-Grade Requirements:
Federal applicants must have served 52 weeks at the next lower grade to satisfy time-in-grade restrictions, per 5CFR 300, Subpart F.
Applicants must have 1 year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 level in the Federal service which provided the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills and abilities to perform the duties of the position.
Qualifying specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
Experience conducting studies to make recommendations to senior managers.
Experience using qualitative and/or quantitative methods for the assessment and improvement of program effectiveness.
Experience reporting, presenting, defending, or justifying management analysis and recommendations.
There is no substitute of education for specialized experience for the GS-13 position.

Qualified candidates are assigned a score between 70 and 100.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
