RealStreet has an assignment for a Senior Claims Analyst in Washington, DC.
This individual will support our client, one of the world's largest engineering, construction, technical and management firms.

Job Responsibilities The Senior Claims Analyst will be working with other senior management team members and will be expected to provide technical expertise on project controls, scheduling, scheduling analysis, claims analysis.
Additional duties include:
Preparing written comments in letter and report format with supporting information necessary to resolve disputes or defend against the claims Preparing and assembling appeal files Participating in meetings or negotiations with claimants Appearing in legal proceedings Preparing cost estimates for use in claims negotiations Preparing risk assessments/analysis relative to claim exposures Job Requirements:
Specific qualifications for the Senior Claims Analyst role include:
BS Degree in Construction/Project Management or Engineering 15
years minimum of construction project management experience preferred Certified Construction Manager (CCM) and either a Professional Engineers (PE) license or CPA Ability to prepare cost estimates for use in claims negotiations Strong writing skills with the ability to communicate effectively in a team environment Ability to provide litigation support to include:
Court boards Timelines Diagrams Static & electronic illustrations Three dimensional models Experience reviewing and preparing both assertive and defensive claims; eg, evaluation of schedules, contract documents and project records to determine the cause/effect of delays and cost overruns, attributing responsibility for cost and schedule impacts to the various parties and preparing written reports Benefits RealStreet offers a comprehensive benefit package which includes:

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
