Supervisory Agricultural Program Specialist

For the GS-14:
One full-time year of specialized work experience equivalent in difficulty and responsibility to the GS-13 level in the Federal service. Specialized experience is experience that demonstrates expert knowledge and experience developing, reviewing, assessing, administering and coordinating agricultural farm programs. This includes 1) a broad knowledge of the laws, regulations, and principles as well as applying technology to analyze, evaluate and implement agricultural programs; 2) understanding of farming practices and customs, and of the economic needs of farm communities at the national level; and 3) ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with representatives of public and private organizations, farmers' associations, and others. For the GS-15 One full-time year of specialized work experience equivalent in difficulty and responsibility to the GS-14 level in the Federal service directing, developing, reviewing, administering and coordinating programs which demonstrate an expert knowledge of the laws and regulations governing farm safety net, loan and conservation programs and application of national policies and objectives. Broad knowledge of farming practices and customs in the United States, and of the economic needs of farm communities; knowledge of current State and Federal agricultural trends; and ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with representatives of public and private organizations, farmers' associations, and others, and to interpret statutes regulations, programs, and policies affecting them. Experience in automation of farm programs including writing business user requirements and testing and certification of automated farm programs Applicants must meet all qualifications and eligibility requirements by the closing date of the announcement 12/14/2020 including time-in-grade restrictions, specialized experience and/or education, as defined. The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
