As a Senior Confidential Assistant, you will:
-Be responsible for interpretation and implementation of legislation, regulations and any new legislative issuances as well as policies governing other programs and having on impact on CPD.-Interpret the regulations governing grants under CPD programs and develop policy recommendations and alternatives.-Provide technical advice and guidance to HUD staff, grantees and contractors in order to accomplish program objectives and maintain consistency nationwide in the application of program policies, standards and procedures.-Provide technical assistance and guidance on information technology systems such as the Integrated Disbursement and Information System (IDIS) and the Disaster Recovery Grant Reporting (DRGR) systems with respect to reporting on the use of CPD funds in each system. Experience:
For the GS-15, you must have one year of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-14 grade level in the Federal service. Specialized experience for this position includes:
- Advising senior management on legislative, regulatory, procedural, budgetary, and long range strategic planning related to the development and implementation of automated systems; AND- Conducting analysis of systems to determine the nature of system requirements and whether or not new systems or enhancements should be developed; AND- Providing technical advice and guidance to staff and customers, orally and in writing. In addition to the above requirements, you must meet the following time-in-grade requirement, if applicable:
For the GS-15, you must have been at the GS-14 level for 52 weeks.Time After Competitive Appointment:
Candidates who are current Federal employees serving on a non-temporary competitive appointment must have served at least three months in that appointment.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
