Summary We are currently staffing for an Sr.
Acquisition Program Analyst in the Space Program Directorate (AQS).
The Sr.
Acquisition Program Analyst position directly interfaces with the Directorate Chief and Deputy Chief, points of contact on The Hill (representatives of the House Armed Services Committee - Defense House Appropriations Committee - Defense), Legislative Liaisons and Directorate Program Element Monitors (PEM).
It focuses on monitoring and assessing the Congressional climate related to Air Force acquisition programs.
The tasks for this position include Supporting Headquarters Air Force (HAF) budget preparation and defense, SAE oversight and decision-making activities, PEO program execution and oversight efforts of space systems, to include writing reports on Air Force acquisition capability areas (including AF Science and Technology (ST), and Air Force acquisition specialty capability areas) and individual acquisition programs.
Maintaining and analyzing planning and management data on Congressional activities, to include researching transcripts, hearings, and events and providing summary reports.
Studying, analyzing, and providing recommendations on requirements, space acquisition strategies, and reporting on key issues pertaining to Authorization and Appropriations processes.
Providing honest broker assessments of space programs approaching milestone decisions and of prime contractor technical and operational issues.
Researching and analyzing program trends, identifying issues, and recommending solutions, to include Congressional inquiriesinsertsappeals, testimony, Posture Hearing Issues Papers (PHIPs), Budget Program Fact Papers (BPFPs), Heartburn Appeals, Major Budget Issues, and DOD(IG), Congressional Budget Office (CBO), and Government Accountability Office (GAO) reports.
Reviewing and providing data to assist in the preparation for legislative hearings, testimony, program documentation, briefing packages and read-aheads for Congressional staffer visits, formal Questions for Record (QFRs), and other events to ensure an integrated and consistent Air Force position in response to Congressional questions and requests for information.
Reviewing and providing recommendations on existing and proposed Air Force space acquisition and capability area policies and implementation.
Reviewing and evaluating the impact of national, DOD, JCS, and civil government policies and activities that affect Air Force acquisition programs and capability areas.
Providing educational training and materials on the budget enactment process including staffer days and the Congressional process.
Providing short notice, quick-reaction analyses of critical programmatic issues in the context of Congressional, OSD Staff, Joint Staff, HQ USAF, Major Air Command (MAJCOM), coalition, and international activities.
Maintaining legislative database.
This database includes funding and language information by committee for Air Force acquisition programs throughout the mark process to final passage, legislation to include defense bills and reports, information on key congressional personnel to include their biographical histories and their interest areas, biographical information on key staff, and transcripts on Air Force acquisition-related hearings with member and respondent hearing quotes referenced to programs.
Qualifications Active Top Secret with SCI eligibility Clearance 10 years of experience with DoD acquisitions and Congressional support and reporting.
Familiarity with the following software programs MS PowerPoint, MS Word, and MS Excel.
Master s Degree in Business or Engineering.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
