This position is with Office of the Deputy Chief of Staff,G-3/7, Headquarters, Dept of the Army located in Arlington, VA.

Develop and perform trade-off analyses between competing programs to balance the total obligation authority with both new and established priorities.
Participate with other members in building the Program Objective Memorandum (POM) and Budget Estimate Submission (BES).
Identify and define problems, develop alternative courses of action, and present findings and recommendations to leadership for allocation of resources.
Analyze policies, directives, and changes in resource requirements, assessing impacts on the agency.
Solve complex problems and recommend solutions that arise in the prioritization and integration of agency requirements.
Analyze detailed data within the agency's program to ensure that appropriate resources have been allocated to each program and that resources of related programs are compatible in scope and sufficiency.
Review, analyze, and integrate data to develop recommendations with respect to continuing, expanding, reducing, or eliminating various programs at resourcing decision points within the PPBE cycle.
Defend resources by participating in the OSD program review and budget review.
Present briefings to leadership in preparation for meetings of other Senior Leaders.
Confer and coordinate with other concerned staff elements to obtain agreement on actions and data.
Develop data for program review and analysis presentations.
Independently identify the need for analyses and produces oral or written reports as deemed necessary.

Experience:
One year of specialized experience which includes Develop and recommend courses of action or recommendations to leadership in regards to planning, programming, or allocating of resources; Establish or compare priorities across functional areas in order to achieve a cohesive program in relation to financial or manpower impacts; Assist in solving of complex problems and recommending solutions in prioritization or integration requirements; and Assist in the review of program requirements such as:
Program Evaluation Group (PEG).
This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-13).

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
