Summary:
Provides direct patient pulmonary care in the acute hospital and to other patients of the JHMBC in accordance with JCAHO, state, hospital and department standards.
Provides care to adults of all ages, children and infants, with the majority of the patients being adults.
Core NICU respiratory team primarily assigned to NICU and Labor & Delivery.
May also support adult care, pediatric care and Peds ED.
Responsibilities include by not limited to all respiratory care, Neonatal.
Peds and adult and includes but not limited to:
ventilator management including HFOV and Jet ventilation, SiPAP, High Flow oxygen, Nitric Oxide, oxygen therapy, Medication & surfactant delivery, high-risk deliveries, and computerized documentation.
Education/
Experience:
Work requires the level of knowledge typically acquired through completion of two years of occupationally specific education or an Associate's degree in respiratory therapy or closely related field and six months of previous experience.
Licensure/Certification:
Registration by the National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC) as a Registered respiratory Therapist (RRT) is required.
Must have and maintain an active license by the Maryland State Bard of Physicians.
BLS required.
; NRP mist be obtained within orientation period.
ACLS strongly preferred.
Must obtain and maintain certification by the NBRC as a Neonatal/Pediatric Specialist within one year of hire date and all certifications remains current during employment.
Knowledge:
Work requires the analytical skills to resolve problems that require the use of basic scientific, mathematical or technical principles.
Work requires the ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing and provide empathy in difficult interpersonal situations.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
