Diversity Program Manager

Duties Help Duties Summary This is a Program Manager position in the Office of Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Accessibility.
If selected, you will be responsible for developing and coordinating policy and initiatives to drive and integrate diversity, equity, inclusion, and accessibility practices throughout the Federal Government, respecting individual and organizational cultures, while complying with merit principles and applicable Federal laws.

Participating with high-level officials in formulating OPM program policies and overall goals and objectives for the Agency.
Managing the creation and implementation of strategies designed to build a diverse Federal workforce that routinely assesses equity for accessible and inclusive work environments.
Providing authoritative expert advice and consultation on policy guidance to OPM officials and other Federal agencies.
Directing and coordinating the preparation of top-level briefing papers and Congressional information.
Structuring and implementing a Federal-wide Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Accessibility learning and education effort for Federal employees.
Providing oversight and support for the governmentwide Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Accessibility Strategic Plan.

You must have one year of specialized experience at the GS-13 grade level participating in the formulation of diversity and inclusion program policies, goals and objectives AND participating in the development and implementation of strategies designed to build and sustain a diverse workforce and inclusive work environment.
Merit promotion applicants must meet time-in-grade requirement as defined in 5 CFR 300, Subpart F.
One year at the GS-14 level is required to meet the time-in-grade requirements for the GS-14 level.
You must meet all qualification and eligibility requirements within 30 days of the closing date of this announcement.
Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (eg, Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (eg, professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social).
Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment.
You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
