DHS S&T - Senior Program Manager
Apogee is seeking a Senior Program Manager in support of the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Science and Technology (S&T) Directorate located at DHS facilities in Washington DC Metro Area.

What you will be doing:
Provide program management to coordinate and track performance of contractor staff relative to the Statement of Work (SOW), schedules, work packages, funding, expenditures, and invoicing with the Government Program Manager.
Serve as single Point of Contact with the Government customer and be responsible for all contractor work performed Conduct contract planning, quality management and reporting.
Prepare a Business Continuity Plan containing emergency management procedures/policies Support Government staff in drafting a scope, objectives, project requirements such as personnel and tasks, project schedule and milestones, and deliverables for the Pilot.
Support drafting a Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) for the project management plan.
Assist in the development of a Business Case Report as needed to move into the Pilot phase or into production.
Support development of a detailed Pilot Project Management Plan containing the purpose, pilot participants, SOW, WBS, roles and responsibilities, management strategy, project milestones, communication strategy, and deliverable descriptions.
Prepare Monthly Progress Report, including summary of work performed, breakdown of labor hours, costs, technical progress, schedule status, travel planned/conducted, and recommendations Lead monthly Program Management Review (PMR) to discuss progress, exchange information, and resolve emergent technical problems/issues with the DHS customer What you'll need:
Bachelor's in Business or Engineering with a minimum of 15 years of managing R&D for technologies Extensive knowledge in coordinating and tracking schedules and work packages with both the Government and their own Technical SMEs and development staff Extensive knowledge in coordinating and tracking funding expenditures and invoices with both the Government and their own Contract support staff Experience supporting DHS is desired

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
