Responsibilities You'll confer with internal stakeholders and build new collaborative relationships with medical and scientific leaders.
You'll contribute cutting-edge clinical and scientific data to help move healthcare forward and positively impact patients.
The Senior Medical Science Liaison will be responsible for cultivating current and future thought leaders in academic and clinical medicine at the local, regional and national level through in-depth, fair-balanced scientific engagement and strategic insight gathering.
The Senior Medical Science Liaison will combine their strong business acumen, market awareness, and clinical expertise to serve as a conduit of information to internal cross-functional stakeholders in support of business planning and product development.
In this role, you will identify pre-clinical, clinical and post-marketing study investigators, and provide actionable information and insights to internal stakeholders that may enhance the value and appropriate use of our client's products.
Execute Medical Science Liaison plan tactics within assigned territory to meet scientific objectives and defined goals for products Provide education relevant to disease state and client products across the product lifecycle to healthcare providers, genetic counselors, researchers and other healthcare team members Serve as a medical/scientific resource through answering unsolicited medical questions and addressing other related medical information issues Engage in scientific exchange and provide feedback on emerging clinical/competitive trends Identify, document, discuss and communicate insights to internal stakeholders Job Requirements Along with your ability to remain at the forefront of your field, you must possess:
Master's Degree with extensive clinical experience required.
An advanced doctoral degree (MD, PhD or PharmD) or equivalent terminal degree preferred 5
years clinical experience, and 3
years of Medical Science Liaison experience is preferred Experience in rare pediatric genetic disease, skeletal dysplasia and/or growth-related conditions, and pediatric endocrinology preferred Experience in product launch, development, and execution preferred Knowledge of regulations impacting Medical Affairs and field activities in the pharmaceutical industry Ability to travel 60-75% (including overnight travel) and possess a valid driver's license to drive to assignments, unless otherwise specified Interviews may be conducted in person at an on-site interview location.
