Business Analyst

ECS is seeking a Business Analyst to work in our Washington, DC office.
Job Description:
We are looking for a Senior Business Analyst.
The Business Analyst will support the government in the design, development, and management of business intelligence and data analytics capabilities and government efforts to provide shared service capabilities to customer organizations.
The Sr.
Analyst will also support the development and realization of the platforms cloud migration strategy by working with engineers to document, analyze, and prioritize business and application functional requirements and customer issues.
The Sr.
Analyst will be responsible for managing service communications and tracking issue resolution through completion using Agile practices and tools.
The Sr.
Analyst will also work with the government and team members identify, recommend, and implement opportunities for service delivery improvement through Business Process Improvement, KPI Development and management, and new technology implementation.
The Sr.
Analyst will support the overall contract team in issue prioritization, management reporting, and cross team coordination.
Documents and analyzes business and functional requirements so that they may be accurately translated to technical system requirements Develops data architecture and systems design documentation applying industry best practices and government standards.
Creates high-level briefings and communications materials for customers, management, and executive stakeholders Possesses strong communication skills and capable to use a range of methods to conduct interviews, develop and present issues, and draft written reports of findings and recommendations to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of program administration and operations Understands and supports system documentation requirements Familiar with business process reengineering methodologies Helps define how information systems may be upgraded or replaced Conducts trade-off analyses on business and technical requirements Demonstrates the ability to quickly develop a working understanding of the applicable service technologies, operating systems, and licensing structures Develops team procedures, manuals and other documentation for information systemsRequired Skills:
Must successfully complete a stringent Background Investigation and obtain the required Government Security Clearance 5
years of experience in systems or business process analysis and design of information systems programs and related business processes You demonstrate outstanding leadership skills and both written and verbal communication skills.
You demonstrate the ability to interact comfortably with Senior Leadership and/or Government Executives and staff on a day-to-day basis.
You are a self-starter who can provide client solutions with minimal instructions and can run independently on projects You thrive in a dynamic work environment, exhibiting ability to be flexible and a strong team-playerDesired Skills:
Active DHS clearance is a plus Experience with IT Service Management and enterprise level IT Systems migrations Familiarity with or interest in Agile Methodologies Certified Scrum Master Knowledge of Atlassian toolsets (Confluence, JIRA, etc.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
