We are looking for Senior Software Engineer for our products with a passion for developing cutting edge solutions that enable Oracle Hospitality Cloud applications to seamlessly connect with a variety of cloud applications, both internal within Oracle Cloud such as HCM, ERP and CX but also third-party applications.
Responsibilities:
Provides significant contribution and oversight in the design and development of software products/solutions and solution prototypingDelivers high quality products/solutions and ensures that best practices and sound engineering principals are applied in all phases of the software development life cycleTasks include writing functional specifications, design documentation, coding, unit testing, debugging, integration, performance tuning, of software modulesPossesses sufficient knowledge to constructively challenge current practices or approaches; identifies trends that have impact on work unit, or products and articulates implications to upper managementHas the ability to gain working knowledge of other ORACLE departments and how these areas can benefit his/her areaProvides training and mentorship to less experienced software engineers including code reviewsQualificationsBachelor's degree in technical discipline (preferably in Computer Science or related field)5
years of experience in software design and developmentExperience in all aspects of the Software Development Life CycleExpert level competency in core Java, SOAP/REST web services, microservice architecture, JPA/ORM, JUnit and Oracle databaseKnowledge and understanding of iPaaS technologiesExperience implementing integration solutions using Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) and related Oracle technologiesExposure to Open Source integration tools such as Apache Camel, Apache Airflow to name a fewUnderstanding and experience implementing cloud native architecturesPassion and a genuine interest in integrationGood communication skillsPreferred Skills:
Actual experience with Open Source integration tools such as Apache Camel, Apache Airflow etc.
