Description A Salesforce Marketing Cloud Architect is in a strategic position in our Communications Hub business unit serving as the technical subject matter expert for Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
With deep expertise in Marketing Cloud and a broader understanding of the entire MarTech stack, you will work closely with Product Managers to design solutions for their needs.
Responsibilities Conduct technical requirements gathering, user story development, reviews, and architecture sessions.
Document technical processes and run analysis between current and future states.
Collaborate with other architects and team members to detail, design, document, understand, and/or deliver technical specifications and solutions.
Clearly articulate and provide technical subject matter expertise to business partners and project teams.
Understand out-of-the-box Marketing Cloud capabilities and have the ability to leverage and tailor accordingly to project requirements.
Conduct workshops, develop and present options based on technology and feasibility trade-offs, and the choices that may be required to meet project requirements.
Proactively identify and analyze issues/obstacles to determine and recommend appropriate courses of action.
Deliver and execute technical designs, customizing where required, using Salesforce Marketing Cloud and other complimentary Cross-Cloud Salesforce product offerings such as Health Cloud.
Stay ahead of the curve with MarTech innovations, have a growth mindset to educate yourself, and enable others on current and emerging technologies.
Work collaboratively and dynamically across multiple engagements at a time.
Oversee, ensure, and support documentation standards are adhered to from initial solution design to a final as-built technical specification.

Required Qualifications Salesforce Marketing Cloud Email Specialist and Salesforce Marketing Cloud Consultant Certifications required.
Deep knowledge of the Salesforce Marketing Cloud platform and prior experience implementing and supporting full lifecycle projects on Marketing Cloud.
Experience with SF Marketing Clouds exhaustive capabilities across all Studios and Builders.
Proficient in HTML/CSS, AMPScript, SSJS, and SQL.
AMP, GTL, JS, and Postmonger skills are highly desirable.
Proficient in various integration patterns (API, Batch, Event) to/from Marketing Cloud.
Be an SME with integrations inclusive of external systems, third-party, as well as, the Cross-Cloud connectors such as Marketing Cloud Connect.
Will assist with the creation of new campaigns, including data configuration, audience creation, and utilization of Marketing Cloud platform capabilities.
Salesforce Development/Customizations (APEX, Visual Force, Flows) is a plus.
Familiarity with Agile project delivery methodology, ceremonies, and tools (ex.
Copado).
Experience working with architecture and process flow visualization applications such as MS Visio, Lucid Chart, or diagramming tools within Google Slides or PowerPoint.
Preferred Qualifications Salesforce Marketing Cloud Administrator or Developer Certification(s) highly desired.
Good understanding of Content ecosystem components like CMS, DAM, DRM, Personalization engines, Taxonomy/Metadata Management, Workflow tools, etc.
Understanding how content is personalized, made dynamic, and leveraged for channel and experience activation across omni-channels.
Understanding of Adobe Experience Manager (AEM), AEM Assets/DAM, and overall Adobe ecosystem (specifically Adobe Target, Adobe Analytics).
Familiarity with campaign management platforms (Aprimo) and Adobe Audience Manager/DMP.
Solid understanding of relational databases, data governance, and management best practices.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
