Job Description:
ECS is seeking a passionate and driven Project Manager to lead and support contracts with our government client.
As a project manager, you will support across multiple data-oriented development projects with our National Security client.
We are seeking an accomplished, creative and self-motivated individual who enjoys working within a dynamic and growth-oriented, team environment.
The role requires superior customer service skills, knowledge of industry best practices, requirements analysis, & delivery management for multiple concurrent projects.
Your ability to develop and maintain credibility and trust with the client will be critical to your success.
In this role, you will lead one or more teams of solutions architects, data engineers, security engineers, business analysts, and data analysts to elicit and define requirements and manage the delivery of technical solutions across a range of platform and customer initiatives through the application of Agile delivery methodologies and best practices.
You will support the application of data governance and engineering best practices for designing of interface standards, quality assurance standards, performance standards, and cost-benefit analysis of the modern state-of-the art information systems.
As a Project Manager you are specifically responsible for:
Support Program Management with operational management of the program team consisting of ECS employees, subcontract staff, and expert product consultants, to ensure the overall success of program Develop and track project schedules through delivery and implementation Support the identification, analysis, and remediation project risk, issues Communicate program team progress, issues and recommendations to senior management through program status reviews Develop executive level briefings and solutions overviews to support communication and understanding of technical capabilities, value, and program progress Support project teams in the development of requirements and user stories and manage tasks to completion Support the development and application of program standards, policies, and procedures to standardize and streamline business processes Support the development and delivery of content including data pipelines, reports, dashboards, and analytics capabilities Manage and lead Agile ceremonies, stand-ups, grooming, retrospectives, and planning sessions and ensure accuracy of task reporting Obtain and monitor commitments for dependent tasks/deliverables from external support teams and drive coordination and collaboration to meet expectations for delivery cost, quality and schedule Required Skills:
Bachelor's degree or higher US Citizen with an ability to obtain a DHS Public Trust 7
years of IT Project Management Experience managing complex programs within budget and schedule constraints PMP Certified and a strong understanding of Agile methodologies Experience in leadership and setting expectations for a distributed team Excellent oral and written communication skills, including the ability to interact effectively with executives, engineers and vendors.
Strong organizational skills, including the ability to effectively manage multiple priorities.
Strong critical and analytical thinking and research skills.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
