Senior Accountant

Job Description ENSCO ASE is recruiting senior engineering and support staff supporting the Office of the Undersecretary of Defense, Research and Engineering Branch (OUSD/R&E).
We are currently seeking a Financial Analyst/Specialist capable of providing financial expertise on developing and executing budgets.
Mature judgement required to interface with external stakeholders and senior government personnel.
Position located on-site in the Washington DC/Virginia area.
Work to evaluate and secure cutting-edge technology and engineering capabilities to facilitate modernization efforts and support DoD joint warfighting efforts Work with a team of driven, supportive, and highly skilled professionals Capable of utilizing budget/resource analytic tools, techniques, and processes.
Capable of preparing charts, tables, graphs, and diagrams to analyze and display financial data.
Utilizes knowledge, skills, and abilities in DoD financial management principles and practices.
Works as a member of team and assists with solving complex financial management problems.
Professional/Technical Administrative and Financial Support (Financial Management Support) Provide financial budgetary support to include but limited to providing funding, forecasting, programming, budget documentation, execution status, and funds reconciliation.
Follow the planning, programming, budget, executing (PPBE) process and guidance.
Monitor and report the status of approved, deferred, and released funds.
Maintain cognizance of various program funds and provide financial information and obligation/expenditure performance graphs for senior leadership.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
