Senior Management Consultant

ECS is seeking a Senior Management Consultant to work in our Washington, DC office.
Job Description:
As a Senior Management Consultant, you will work with our National Security clients to help define, implement, and continually improve enterprise level IT Services and Business Operations.
You will use your experiences in business process reengineering, IT Service Operations and systems integration to support the government in realizing the benefits of cloud technologies.
You will help define and implement cloud migration strategies, working across engineering teams and Federal stakeholders, to ensure the success of system migrations and transition to operational environments.
Your abilities to conduct stakeholder interviews, elicit and define requirements, and to communicate complex technologies and processes will be key in supporting customer engagement efforts.
The Business Analyst will be responsible for managing communications with federal system and application owners - guiding them through the System Engineering Lifecycle (SELC) using Agile practices and tools.
You will work with the government and team members to identify, recommend, and implement opportunities for service delivery improvement and new technology implementation.
The Business Analyst will support the overall contract team in issue prioritization, management reporting, and cross team coordination.
Your strong communication skills and ability to build relationships and drive collaboration will be critical to your success.
You will need to adapt your approach based on customer relationships and organizational structures.
As a Senior Management consultant, you have demonstrated leadership skills and an ability to handle multiple concurrent tasks and priorities, maintaining focus among conflicting demands, to meet project deadlines.
Documents and analyzes business and functional requirements so that they may be accurately translated to technical system requirements Creates high-level briefings and communications materials for customers, management, and executive stakeholders Possesses effective communication skills and capable to use a range of methods to conduct interviews, develop and present issues, and draft written reports of findings and recommendations to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of program administration and operations Understands and supports system documentation requirements Familiar with business process reengineering methodologies Helps define how information systems may be upgraded or replaced Conducts trade-off analyses on business and technical requirements Demonstrates the ability to quickly develop a working understanding of the applicable service technologies, operating systems, and licensing structures Develops team procedures, manuals, and other documentation for information systems Required Skills:
Must successfully complete a stringent Background Investigation and obtain the required Government Security Clearance (Active DHS clearance is a plus - US Citizenship is a requirement to obtain clearance).
7 years of experience in systems analysis and design of information technology systems and related business processes Bachelor's Degree You demonstrate outstanding leadership skills and both written and verbal communication skills, including strong technical writing abilities You demonstrate the ability to interact comfortably with Senior Leadership and/or Government Executives and staff on a day-to-day basis.
You have a working knowledge of Systems Engineering Lifecycle.
You are familiar with both the AWS and Azure Cloud platforms and able to describe the benefits to non-technical customers.
You are a self-starter who can provide client solutions with minimal instructions and can run independently on projects.
You thrive in a dynamic work environment, exhibiting ability to be flexible and a strong team-player.
Desired Skills:
Experience with IT Service Management and enterprise level IT Systems migrations Familiarity with or interest in Agile Methodologies Certified Scrum Master certification Knowledge of Atlassian toolsets (Confluence, JIRA, etc.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
