Duties Help Duties Summary This position is located in the Office of Strategic Intelligence and Information (OSII), Chief of Staff, Washington, DC Performs all basic budgetary, financial, personnel, management and administrative support functions, including identifying resources (staff, funding, equipment, property, and document control and accountability) for all administrative functions for office.
Learn more about this agency Responsibilities Performs a wide range of budgetary and financial functions associated with the branch, management and review of administrative matters and programs in the directorate.
Acts the primary resource on all matters concerning the administration of the branch and program budgets.
Monitors, on a continual basis, the execution of budget programs obligation documents and financial operating plans.
Program funds in financial operating plan and executes changes in the plans as necessary reflect spending priorities, provides funding for activities related to the evaluation of programs and for discretionary spending.
Develops and conducts, on a continuous basis, analyses of the status of budget, and administrative matters.
Conducts analysis and generates records, develops and maintains data from reports submitted by the directorate to ensure maintenance of accurate correspondence records within the directorate.
Assures preparation of various reports, exhibits, analyses and other materials in connection with the branch administrative requirements or in response to specific requests.
Must be able to organize various tables, reports and other related material as required.

Additional Conditions of Employment:

At that time, you may be eligible to request to continue to telework one or more days a pay period depending upon the terms of the agency's telework policy.
MOBILITY PLAN:
New employees hired pursuant to this vacancy announcement must sign a mobility agreement.
The purpose of ATF's mobility policy is to enhance career development and progression, and achieve mission and business effectiveness.
To accomplish these objectives, the mobility plan will facilitate the movement of employees through special short-term assignments or permanent reassignments throughout the Bureau.

Qualifications To qualify for GS-13 candidates must also have at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level GS-12.
Specialized experience is demonstrated experience, which has equipped the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills and abilities to perform successfully the duties of this position.
Experience must be in the normal line of progression or must be related to the work of the position advertised and must be reflected in resume.
Examples of specialized experience include reviewing and analyzing budget data, preparing budget estimates and consolidating budget reports; monitoring and executing program budgets; design and conduct various administrative projects, recommend alternatives and present conclusions; develop and prepare written documents for presentation.

The GS-13 salary range starts at $103,690.
