Junior Communications and Graphics Designer

ECS is seeking a Junior Communications and Graphics Designer to work in our Washington DC office.
Job Description:
ECS is seeking a designer to join our team helping our cybersecurity customer achieve deeper stakeholder engagement through comprehensive communication and design support.
In this role you will lead efforts to design compelling, highly usable, exciting content that amplifies key messages, creates action, and drives measurable outcomes for our customer.
The ideal candidate will possess the ability to ideate and prototype quickly across multiple mediums including web, print, and multimedia, while maintaining a rapid feedback loop and the creative flexibility to change approaches based on the dynamic requirements of our federal customer.
You will work closely with the ECS team and our federal customer to ensure our communication and design efforts align to organizational strategy.
Job Responsibilities Manage multiple work products across multiple clients simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
Demonstrate creativity and excellent technical skills in all aspects of graphic design including concepts, typography, imagery, color, and layouts.
Develop and design all phases of assigned projects from initial concept through final production, to include proofing, file preparation, and distribution.
Projects include, but are not limited to, advertisements, brochures, marketing collateral, proposal graphics, presentations, logos, newsletters, flyers, reports, invitations, websites, application interfaces, and motion graphic animations.
Conduct all phases of user research and analysis needed to inform the creation of highly usable web pages, application interfaces, and other dynamic solutions.
Collaborate with federal practice engineers and federal clients to define, design, and implement innovative, beautiful, intuitive solutions for use by our federal customer and their stakeholders.
Create wireframes, storyboards, and site maps to effectively communicate interaction and design ideas for websites and applications.
Provide proofing and quality control of all design work products to ensure they are accurate and delivered on time.
Conduct regular engagements with federal clients to identify pain points, communication needs, creative opportunities, and creative solutions to drive organizational change.
Lead creative branding exercises to create compelling new, exciting identities for our clients' solutions and initiatives.
Identify gaps in current design offerings and work with communications team and Federal clients to address them.
Work both independently and with other designers to develop and document repeatable processes for regular communications.
Required Skills:
Must be able to obtain a Public Trust Clearance Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience four-year degree in an appropriate field or an additional three years of relevant experience three (3) years' experience in Interaction design, user research, and usability testing Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, to include xD, Illustrator, InDesign, and After Effects Excellent interpersonal and client focused skills- interacts well with all levels of staff and partners with a positive and enthusiastic attitude Strong ability to translate complex technical concepts into clean, intuitive graphics and diagrams Experience facilitating creative branding sessions Desired Skills:
Experience designing and developing a variety of content for web and print Experience using the Atlassian suite (Confluence, JIRA, etc.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
