Description Apogee is actively seeking a Program Manager located in the Washington, DC area to lead execution of Apogee contracts and expand opportunities within our regional portfolio. The PM will oversee a team of Task Leads and Professionals supporting a diverse set of a variety of Federal Government contracts/customers. Planning, budgetary, contract, and program management execution functions are required. Typical duties include technical and management support for programs/projects. Responsibilities Direct and manage project support functions, involving multiple, complex and inter-related project tasks; function as the PM overseeing multiple projects, determining customers' needs and priorities and coordinating management and technical solutions Utilize cross-functional knowledge in business and financial management; contract management policies, procedures, and processes; scheduling; risk management; and automated financial management systems to provide oversight and guidance to staff at all levels to ensure project performance and compliance Develop and maintain tracking and reporting mechanisms to provide continuous supervision of costs and schedules; interface with corporate contracts management, project control, and human resources to ensure data conformance across departments Coordinate/facilitate corporate support functions such as contracts management, sourcing/recruiting, onboarding/orientation, security, payroll, quality, and human resources for the projects Coordinate, collaborate, and communicate with the Contracting Officer (CO) and Contracting Officer's Representatives (COR) to address potential problems, issues, and/or risks that may impact the mission and/or contract deliverables Prepare contract deliverables, including Project Management Plans, Quality Control Plans, and Monthly/Quarterly Status Reports Plan, coordinate, and facilitate periodic status reviews with the Government and special presentations to advance high-priority Government initiatives As a hiring manager, recruit and retain the required mix of personnel with the expertise, experience, and appropriate qualifications to perform duties and responsibilities Motivate personnel for high performance and ensure employee welfare Engage employees, subcontractors, customers, CO, and COR to ensure optimum project performance Represent Apogee's culture and mission in all interactions with employees, customers, and partner companies Plan, coordinate, and facilitate contractor travel and other direct costs with the Government Monitor one-time and periodic contractor training requirements and other compliance issues established in the TO and Apogee policy Support Apogee business development opportunities in the Washington, DC area Qualifications Security Clearance Required:
Secret Bachelor's degree and 12
years relevant experience managing diverse teams of technical personnel Experience managing teams of over 50 personnel with direct supervision PMP certification required Experience with quality management systems (ISO 9001:
2015) Experience working with Joint Venture teams or with Large Business partners preferred Strong relationships and demonstrated ability to work with senior business and government leaders Exceptional skill in verbal and written communication
Salary Range:
$150K -- $200K
Minimum Qualification
Program ManagementEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
