Job Description
The Materials Management team works closely with authors, designers, meeting planners, and external vendors to ensure that the firm's printed materials are produced to the highest quality standards in a timely and cost-effective manner. We are seeking to bring a Senior Associate to the team who will focus on resources and reporting. In addition to some of the responsibilities of Associates on the Materials Management team, this individual will help to assign projects and track the team's workload, pull a variety of regular reports, and serve as point-person with select vendors. This is a position best suited for self-starting individuals with strong communication skills and project management experience who enjoy collaboration, problem-solving, and who have an appreciation for print design. The environment is challenging, fast-paced, and creative. Our current opportunity is based in Washington D.C.
_Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:_
Maintain and update project database, helping to recommend and track job assignments.
Maintain project schedules production calendars based on client needs and vendor availability.
Track invoices and expenses to ensure timely payments and assist with select cost reports.
Serve as the primary point of contact with select vendors and help to research and recommend new vendors.
Assist with ordering the mass mailings of publications.
Monitor the firm's publication inventory and assist with select reports.
Monitor firm's supply inventory, ordering and updating materials when necessary.
Write purchase orders authorizing external vendors to initiate production, detailing all document specifications, and providing print and delivery instructions.
Troubleshoot and investigate emergent problems in the print and delivery process, and providing solutions for improvement.
_Basic Requirements:_
Bachelor's degree
1-2 years' experience
Proven experience managing time and completing work under deadlines
Proven attention to detail
Strong communication and customer service skills
Ability to quickly learn new software
Working experience with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Outlook
_Ideal
Qualifications:_
Familiarity with Mac environment
Experience in publications/print production and/or inventory management
Experience with reporting and data analysis
Leadership and/or Vendor Management experience
Experience with Workamagig, Salesforce, Acrobat, and/or Adobe Creative Suite

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
