Work Schedule and Hours
Flexible schedule which includes some evenings. Will coordinate with ASCWU Student Government to set consistent officer hours within a 9am-5pm work week. No less than 6 hours per week.
Job Summary
(Purpose) The Elections Coordinator is in charge of the overall management and direction of the elections for the Central Washington University Student Government.
The ASCWU Student Government recognizes the importance of keeping students aware of the election process of their student government representatives. As we say: If we are not working for the students then we are not working at all!

Knowledge of Microsoft Office
Knowledge of ASCWU as well as CWU in general
Public speaking ability
Must be eligible for student employent in the quarter in which you are working.
Job Duties
(Essential Functions)
Construct and direct promotions for various election programs and campaigns sponsored by the ASCWU Student Government election.
Construct and implement promotional campaigns and publicity for the Election.
Direct all research as well as work closely with the Election Commission.
Direct communications to various constituencies and media outlets.
Search for new communication outlets to aid the election process.
Serve as a resource for all potential and real candidates of the ASCWU Election.
Direct and manage all facets of the election process including meetings, forums, debates, and monitoring all on campus polling locations.
Edit, with approval from the ASCWU Student Government, and make available an updated election packet for all candidates.
Hold regular officer hours to accomplish all tasks of the elections.
Coordinate all facets of the election commission and serve as an advisor for all members of the commission.
Respond to all media inquires about the election.
