com This opportunity is ideal for an experienced, self-starting, detail-oriented, and technically proficient individual to provide support construction of US Navy Warships.
The successful candidate will ensure all piping and HVAC installations are completed in accordance with ship drawings.
Additional responsibilities include monitoring of installation progress, reviewing pipe fabrication shop practices, reviewing pipe flushing and test procedures, developing solutions and recommendations on issues noted, and preparing information for higher levels of management, up to and including the Navy Program Manager.
Prior Navy personnel with related experience are encouraged to apply.
Required
Experience:
High School Diploma or GED 5 to 7 years of experience with shipyards and shipbuilding Experience using Microsoft Office Suite Tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Experience with computer programs such as Auto-CAD and conducting product searches Experience as a trade journeyman Experience in data-keeping for a major ship construction program and preparing presentations for higher level review SECRET clearance or ability to obtain a SECRET clearance Desired
Experience:
Bachelor's degree Experience working with military programs Experience as a journeyman in at least one shipyard.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
