We are looking for an enthusiastic, razor-sharp, self motivated, detail oriented team player where no task is too small.
Our DC office is looking for an Office Production Assistant with relevant media background/interest to join our team.
Reporting to our VP, Operations, this position is key in sustaining a high level of customer service and operating as a liaison with other departments as necessary.
Essential Functions:
Answer central telephone system and directs calls accordingly.
Receive clients and answers questions, in person and by telephone; responds to inquiries and refers, when necessary, to the appropriate person, official or department.
Maintain office procedures and assists with administrative tasks.
Prepare outgoing mail; sorts and distributes incoming mail.
Manage lunch orders for office on daily basis.
Book sessions; coordinate materials as needed.
Provide all services requested by clients and staff, up to and including food, drink, messengers, uploads, downloads and postings.
Maintain office supply inventory.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
