Compliance Analyst


Job Description:
The client is seeking a Compliance Analyst to perform assessment and tracking activities related to compliance with laws or regulations, mortgage-backed security (MBS) trust agreements, and supervisory guidance across multiple business units.
Looking for a contractor to support Legal and Regulatory Compliance.
Candidates should have experience in compliance testing/assessment, tracking data, conducting follow-up, and monitoring.
Technical skills in eGRC platforms, SharePoint, and document management are also desired.
Job responsibilities include:
Tracking and assessing regulatory alerts applicable to Conducting follow-ups with applicable business unitsReviewing related policies, procedures, and job aidsEntering, managing, and analyzing dataManaging multiple projectsIdentifying and escalating issues to management promptlySkills/Experience required include:
Experience conducting assessment activities in compliance, audit, operational risk, or related functionStrong written and verbal communication, project management, and problem-solving skillsProven ability to work independently and collaboratively as a team member to facilitate effective enterprise-wide complianceProven ability to complete projects efficiently with high attention to detail and excellent time management skillsEducation:
Bachelors degree required; industry certification (e.
g.
, CCEP, PMP, etc.
) preferred5-7 years of experience- Need strong experience conducting assessment activities in compliance, audit, operational risk, or related function.
- Need to have experience with project management, and problem-solving skills- Candidates should have experience in compliance testing/assessment, tracking data, conducting follow-up, and monitoring.
Technical skills in eGRC platforms, SharePoint, and document management are also desired.
Additional Information:
Open to both Remote or Hybrid:
If remote, need someone to work east coast hours.
This is a must.
Ok with someone working Hybrid - they go in sporadically once every 2 months for meetings.
Nothing required or set in stone as far as timing.
What will this person be doing:
Working in eGRC tool call regulatory management tool.
They will be triaging items that come in, making enhancements to the process, they will be doing UAT testing and potentially running test scripts.
Helping with data quality to clean up enterprise requirements library.
They will be doing some data entry but will also be analysis on the data entered.
Able to handle processes related to regulatory process like running report, organization assignments.
A lot of project management, keep track of certain data points and data entry.
There will not a lot of writing but they must be able to effectively communicate via email and on the phone.
Compliance and legal background would be helpfulExperience working in computer systems.
Working with MS applications and SharePoint - background in these products is a must.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
