The District of Columbia Office of the Chief Technology Officer is seeking to acquire a Business Analyst to support the day-to-day projects within the Digital Service Team.
The Business Analyst will be responsible for gathering and analyzing data to help inform our web development projects.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in web projects, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to effectively communicate project progress.
Responsibilities Analyze web development project requirements and develop project plans Create user stories, use cases, and wireframes Research and evaluate potential solutions to web development problems Monitor project progress and create reports for stakeholders Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project success Identify areas of improvement and recommend solutions Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders Qualifications Bachelor's degree in web development, computer science, or a related field 5
years of experience in web development and business analysis Excellent problem-solving and communication skills Excellent understanding of web applications built in Drupal Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and other web development technologies Knowledge of web development best practices and industry standards Experience with project management tools such as JIRA and Confluence --------------------------------------------- CONTRACT JOB DESCRIPTION

Formulates and defines systems scope and objectives based on both user needs and a thorough understanding of business systems and industry requirements.
2.
Devises or modifies procedures to solve complex problems considering computer equipment capacity and limitations, operation time, and form of desired results.
Includes analysis of business and user needs, documentation of requirements, and translation into proper system requirements specifications.
3.
Provides consultation on complex projects and is considered to be the top-level contributor/specialist of most phases of systems analysis, while considering the business implications of the application of technology to the current and future business environment.
Minimum Education/Certification Requirements :
Bachelor's degree in IT or related field or equivalent experience; or a current Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification Job Types:
