In addition to Washington, D.

The Executive Assistant will be a close partner and supporter in co-designing, championing and implementing NMMA's executive leadership goals and corporate culture.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES Executive Assistant to the President Job
Responsibilities:
Conserves President's time and promotes the corporate image by representing the president internally and externally; providing liaison support between the president, board of directors, members, key executives, and employees; executing special projects that advance the strategic priorities and culture.
Executive Assistant to the President Job Duties:
Represents the president by welcoming visitors, reviewing correspondence; arranging company dinners and other corporate functions; answering questions, emails and meeting requests directed to the president.
Prepares board meeting materials by gathering and coordinating necessary research and information; prepares talking points; Maintains and distributes board and divisional governance materials; updates and maintains board web portals.
Helps key executives make consistent decisions by identifying and advising them of historical precedents; serving as liaison between them and the president.
Arranges corporate travel and meetings for the President (and SVP, Government Relations) by developing itineraries and agendas; scheduling zoom and teams meetings, booking transportation; arranging lodging and meeting accommodations.
Prepares executive office expense reports and purchase orders for President and SVP, Government Relations; executes executive projects and meetings within established budgets.
In collaboration with the Business Operations Coordinator, ensures the NMMA corporate headquarters in Washington D.
C.
is in excellent working order and presentable at all times.
Represents the president at the corporate headquarters when the CEO is traveling.
Maintains corporate calendar and completes projects and special assignments by establishing objectives; determining priorities; managing time; gaining cooperation of others; monitoring progress; problem-solving; making adjustments to plans.
Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.
Improves quality results by studying, evaluating, and re-designing processes; implementing changes.
Enhances president's and association's reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
Other duties as assigned.
The EA will be present in the DC office three days per week (Tuesday to Thursday preferred), however business needs or meetings may periodically require additional days.
